Lead-free crystal replaces marble: same weight, different light. The base is no longer anchored to the ground — it seems suspended, sculptural, capable of capturing the reflection of the environment that surrounds it.

Achille Castiglioni (1918—2002) is considered one of the fathers of Italian design. Together with his brother Pier Giacomo, he redefined the concept of industrial design, always starting from a real problem and looking for the most essential possible solution. Arco stems from a simple question: how to bring light to a table without drilling the ceiling? The answer — a steel arch and a marble base — has become one of the most iconic objects of the twentieth century.
