Ceretti/Derossi/Red · Gufram · 1971
YEAR OF ORIGIN · RADICAL ANTI-DESIGN

An invented texture. Organic by nature, artificial by choice
INTUITION · 1971Ceretti, Derossi and Rosso weren't designing a sofa. They were planning a critique. To order, to form, to the good bourgeoisie that decorates with good taste and no courage. The answer was already in nature. Long polyurethane stems. A deliberately disproportionate lawn. Nothing else.

THE DESIGNERGiorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso were among the most irreverent figures of Italian design in the Seventies. With Pratone, they delivered to the world an object that rejected any formal convention — not a session, but a manifesto. A lawn to inhabit, not to look at.
